Nice beginner project

Sometimes I found the instructions difficult to follow but then I worked from the example picture to match that colour. Also following the instructions my white shade areas were not very visible in the blending process, Perhaps more pressure was needed instead of the suggested White 1S.But I enjoyed it here is my result:

Not worth it

I found following print instructions difficult but the worst part was that they were sometimes incomplete with missing steps or instructions that didn’t match the photo. I gave up after the 2nd lesson.

Hi Sandra, We're so sorry to hear that! Can you tell me which tutorials were incomplete/missing steps and/or where the instructions didn't match the photos? We'd love to fix any errors. Our sincerest apologies that hasn't been done yet - most of these tutorials have been around for several years - and we have not heard this yet! So please help us make this right. We're also happy to help you with any steps that are confusing. Don't hesitate to reach out to us directly at: orders@annkullberg.com for additional assistance. Thank you for your time on this, Sandra - I look forward to your reply!Kind Regards,Priscilla Summersannkullberg.com

A really Enjoyable Project

I am a complete beginner but I was impressed with what people were doing artist quality colour pencils so a bought a full set of FB Polychromos struggled to get started until I found Ann’s Jumpstart Blue Butterfly seemed a fun project so printed the picture on to FB 160 g/m paper which my printer was happy to print on I wanted to shrink the picture down so I could progress quickly learning from my mistakes. First problem was project required softer Prismacolor pencils but there are plenty of conversion charts to Poychromos, I intend to colour all six butterflies until I am happy with the result
