A stylus (often incorrectly called an "embossing tool") is a very simple tool you can use to change how your paper surface accepts pigment. Styluses are inexpensive, come in several sizes, and you might be surprised at how versatile they are. Denise literally wrote the book on creating textures (101 Textures in Colored Pencil), and in this class she'll demonstrate how to use a stylus (or other common household items) to make drawing whiskers, spiderwebs, grasses, how to make your signature easier, and even how to produce the sparkly look of glitter.
