Ann's first love in life was coloring. Her mother noted when Ann was four years old, that she was "Always drawing, drawing. It will be her special talent." An award-winning portrait artist, instructor and author, Ann has published a monthly magazine for colored pencil artists since 1999. Through her books, website and workshops she continues to instruct and inspire colored pencil artists worldwide.

Aimee Croteau

Aimee Croteau is an artist from Post Falls, Idaho, and a recent graduate from the Studio Art program at Eastern Washington University. She loves to create photorealistic colored pencil portraits of animals and people with airbrushed backgrounds that give her paintings a softer feel.

Amy Horton

Amy studied English and art history at University. After graduating, she trained to be a secondary school art teacher and has been teaching art and photography for 10 years. Her love of the natural world and the outdoors is reflected in her work. She has exhibited pieces throughout the UK and has recently illustrated children’s stories based on her local area.

Amy Lindenberger

Amy Lindenberger is the author of several colored pencil instruction books, including CP Surfaces: Black Paper and CP Surfaces: Pastelmat; Amy has taught colored pencil widely for decades, in the Midwest and on Ann Kullberg sponsored Colored Pencil Workshop Cruises. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Akron (OH) with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drawing.

Anda Chance

Anda Chance is an award winning artist and has received recognition in local, national, and international shows for her colored pencil art. She has judged and curated for galleries, festivals, solo and group shows. She teaches workshops and is active in her community non-profit art organizations.

Carrie L. Lewis has been painting and drawing for over 50 years. Her interest in art began very early, with parents providing crayons and paper. She sold her first horse portrait at the age of seventeen and has been creating beautifully detailed portraits of horses set in luscious landscapes for clients all over the United States ever since.

Denise is the author of 101 Textures in Colored Pencil from Walter Foster Publishing. She has work published in several books, and is popular as a workshop presenter. She is a signature member of the Colored Pencil Society of America and the UK Coloured Pencil Society.

Francesca is a self-taught artist living in London. Her favorite subjects to draw are portraits, and when choosing a reference photo, she always tries to find a particular detail that captures her attention and makes the drawing even more special. Her artwork has won several awards in competitions.

Gretchen Parker

For Gretchen, colored pencil is the only artistic medium that ever clicked, as extreme detail flowed out her pencil tip. She has written extensively about colored pencil techniques. Her work has been featured in many publications and hung in several galleries. She has written the well-reviewed and popular CP Surfaces: Drafting Film for annkullberg.com. Gretchen teaches often via Zoom or the kitchen table.

Leontine is a professional pencil artist from the Netherlands. She works with colored pencils and pastel pencils and focuses mainly on animals. After working full-time as a pet portrait artist for four years she is now teaching others how to create realistic pet portraits and wildlife drawings.

Lyette Roussille is a colored pencil artist from Quebec. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and Art History. She is a full-time artist since 2010 after a 35-year career in teaching visuals arts to high school students. She creates playful and colorful artworks with a “picture book” effect.

Peggy is an award-winning CP fine artist, judge, instructor, and director of national and international workshops. Her original art has been displayed in galleries, museums, and collected nation-wide. Her printed art images are also found in books, book covers, magazines, and editorial publications.

Rhonda Dicksion

Rhonda Dicksion, CPSA, began her colored pencil journey in 2014. Her vibrant and graphic art quickly gained notice in the art world and has won many regional and national awards. Rhonda is the editor-in-chief of Ann Kullberg’s COLOR Magazine, active in the Seattle Chapter of CPSA, and a popular colored pencil instructor.
