Mastering Colors - A Webinar Series with Amy Lindenberger

Amy is an excellent teacher. I have learned so much in these four workshops. I wish I had taken them years ago. Color is such a mystery and Amy just opened it up. I’m glad I have the video available because I want to go through the whole workshop again. All four sessions.

Mastering Colors is a Master Class specifically for colored pencil artists of every skill level. I love that Amy's focus is hands on instruction and she narrates her thinking process real time. She repeats the basic principles to reinforce understanding of the color analysis and the steps of color matching. Along the way, Amy will correct her work, showing her students that no matter how practiced a colored pencil artist may be, there will always be something to correct and how to correct it. You must take advantage of Amy's expertise and passion!

This is the second time I have taken Amy‘s class on color. I think I’ve learned even more the second time around .Amy is a great teacher, clear . This gets into the nitty-gritty of color.

This class clarified so many questions that I’ve had over the last year plus. Amy is a wonderful instructor. I look forward to taking more classes from her.

I purchased the workbook and read through that first. The class, in conjunction with the workbook, really explain color with colored pencils. Analyzing color when using colored pencils is completely different than other mediums. I’m so glad I took this class, and I’m looking forward to the rest of the series, to really take my work to the next level. Thank you, Ann, for hosting this and all the other classes as well. THE best color analysis class!

When I ordered the workbooks and looked through them, I felt like I was a deer in the headlights! But Amy's skillful tutoring put me completely at ease and I finished the day eager to make my own color wheel! DID I RELLY SAY THAT? Yes, I did - and 2 days later it's done and I'm sooo proud of myself. Can hardly wait for the next class!!!

I enjoyed the deep dive into color theory , especially that it was presented in an easy to understand way. I finally understand Hue, Value, and Intensity, how to differentiate between them and how to find them in the color pencils I use. Thank you, Amy, you are a great teacher.

The most useful part for me was how Amy spent some time at the beginning reviewing the color wheel, how she created all her charts, mixing complimentary and adjacent colors. That quick review was all that I needed to get a good grasp on it. I'm sure there is more in her book. I didn't paint the picture because I was more interested in learning about working with neutral colors for my own project. Plan to watch more videos.

This workshop was an eye-opening explanation of color theory for a non-artist (no formal art training). Participants should have worked through the tools in Amy's book "Colors - A Workbook" first. The project for the day used the tools in very practical ways. Amy is a great teacher and handles questions easily while keeping the flow of the work.

I feel very grateful that Amy was offering these webinars. I have read her books and learned from them too. But nothing like a class with her. She is so patient and clear with her explanations that I feel I have learnt a lot with the 2 sessions I have taken. I am looking forward to the other 2. I think that learning from her is a must if you want to upgrade your skills. Thanks Amy.

We had our first session yesterday and it was amazing! Amy is so clear and precise in her demonstrations and explanations as to what she is doing. I've studied with a Color Pencil artist for 5 years and went through 2 extensive color theory classes; using acrylic paints. The theory or how to transfer to color pencil was never addressed and I found this very frustrating. I look forward to continuing to follow Amy Lindenberger . P.S. I also have purchased several workbooks and videos from Ann Kullberg and subscribe to the Color Magazine. Love it all! Debbie

This webinar was wonderful and more than I expected. Now I can take my time and review everything with the very detailed explanations in the workbook. The webinar feels to me like I am working with Amy one on one! She is so thorough in her explanations. She is so peaceful in her presentation. I feel blessed to be a part of this class!!! The photo was great, Amy was Fantastic. She is a fabulous teacher, I had a class with her several years ago in Tucson. I also have several of her books. She teaches at a reasonable pace, answers questions. HerInstructions are excellent. She is very personable and pleasant!!!
