About Amy Lindenberger: Amy Lindenberger is the author of several colored pencil instruction books, including CP Surfaces: Black Paper and CP Surfaces: Pastelmat; Amy has taught colored pencil widely for decades, in the Midwest and on Ann Kullberg sponsored Colored Pencil Workshop Cruises. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Akron (OH) with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drawing.

Super Fun

Amy is one of my favorite teachers thru Ann Kullbergs Jelly Bean Classes. She has the ability to share all her experience as a color pencil artist with clear and concise explanation. Each part of the lesson is well thought out. As she teaches, she explains her process, thinking and reason for why she is chosing colors and its application. She frequently stops and asks if we have any questions or concerns. I love her pace and manage to keep up easily (unless technology decides to be fussy). I highly recommend her classes as well as her books.

I learned so much about Amy’s process that I feel confident to try her techniques on my portraits. I’ m new to colored pencils and had great results. The class was fun and Amy was patient with us students. The first day there were some problems with technology, but Amy took care of it right away, and it was smooth after that.
