Learning to Draw a Bengal Tiger on Canson Mi-Teintes Paper

This recent drawing of the Bengal Tiger was done on Canson Mi-Teintes Paper and of a tan or sand color. Most challenging project. I really wasn't happy with the laying out the white lines for whiskers no matter what I tried. So I had to start over. Finally got this one done and I am happy with it. This was a new and great project that helped me learn to draw on a different type of paper and a colored paper at that. I also experimented with how to trace with graphite tracing paper. Another thing I tried to using my ink-jet printer to produce the outline of the tiger. Worked fairly well I am will experiment again with that.

This was very easy to follow. Finally an artist who used arrows with his photos to make it much easier to know where to use and put the colors. I enjoyed doing this. Hugs to Mark....Hope U continue to do more tutorials using arrows in your works .
