Overall I had a good experience using the Ripe Tomato Jumpstart kit. It's written directions are clear and it makes good use of the supplies it requires. However, I found myself wanting more pictures of the specific area or technique that each step was focusing on so I could better gauge my rendering of the image.
I want to transition from a colorist to a colored pencil artist. This lesson helped me take that first step. I went back and bought the whole package. I am very proud of my improvements with the help of this reasonably priced, high quality tutorial. Thank you very much Ms. Kullberg
Have only skim through it haven't really had a chance to look at it and check-out layers and instructions
Yes, I am please with the advices and instructions in it making the red colour shine to the fullest. May I know if there is some tutorials for portraits of faces having almost darkest half and the light half. If this tutorial is up on ur site, I m sure I m ready to buy it. Thanks. Yee Mon
I'm an artist and I usually like to draw many kinds of subjects...But I had never realized a drawing about a fruit or a vegetable! I am italian, we all know how italians love tomatoes, so when I saw this Jumpastart about the tomato I thought "Why not??". Yes, you should ask yourself simply "Why not??" and try this "tomato adventure"!! The book is really clear and well done, this tutorial can be perfect for the beginners and also for artists, like me, that have some experience in drawing but not with this kind of subject. The instructions are simple and easy to follow, only ten steps to realize a very nice tomato!!
