What a relief!

My, did you ever relieve my guilt complex! I have experimented with many art forms, but always felt inferior because until recently, I had aways traced my art work. Recently I have been able to start drawing some on my own, but usually I rely on using my photography and turning it into sketches and occasionally trying videos on how to draw.Not only did you me the needed confirmation, but also super ideas on how to improve any tracing. I have a light box which I had no idea that it would work on thick drawing paper! Thanks for the wonderful video.

Using tools at hand is not cheating

I never felt the need to be a good sketch artist in order to start working with colored pencils and this class reiterates so. However, it is important to have some drawing knowledge so that you can catch any distortions or line discrepancies that might be original of the reference picture you are using.There are so many tools I did not know about that you can really get started anywhere. As Rhonda said, you can even start working on your line drawing if you have a tablet while waiting for an appointment.Recommended 100%, especially if you are new to colored pencils.

NOT Cheating!

Wow! So much info in 90 minutes! I really enjoyed and LEARNED some new techniques, and the importance of accuracy. Sometimes going back to the beginning for a refresher is what's needed. Thank you both for an enjoyable and informative class.
