A fun project suitable for students of all levels and for all styles of work.
This light and sweet project will teach you some unique colored pencil skills. First, you'll work with black marker to create the outlines of the color pencil drawing. Next, you’ll learn to draw a butterfly in a decorative floral frame using folded tracing paper and all-symmetrical shapes.

• How to easily draw a butterfly with a folded tracing paper and all symmetrical shapes.
About Lyette: Lyette Roussille is a colored pencil artist from Quebec. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and Art History. She is a full-time artist since 2010 after a 35-year career in teaching visuals arts to high school students. She creates playful and colorful artworks with a “picture book” effect.

Each short, focused class is a mere 60 to 90 minutes, but you'll learn lessons you can use for a lifetime. Small projects or single topics that deserve a bit of delving into, Jelly Beans will enhance your skill set and knowledge base in a fun, quick fashion, all from the comfort of your own home. Scheduled on both weekdays and weekends, we hope to accommodate every schedule.
What you need to know:
- You'll receive an email with a link to download the "How to Prepare" PDF that includes the Zoom meeting link and instructions. SAVE this PDF.
- On the day of the workshop, just before class begins, click on the link to enter the classroom.
- As Lyette teaches, you'll get to ask questions.
