Baffled when it comes to drawing clothing, blankets... folds of any kind?
You're not alone. Plenty of artists find it very difficult to create the complex patterns that make up fabric folds.
Be baffled no more... Andie breaks it down and makes it easy.
She'll show you how to move past the "stripe" effect of wrinkles, and to interpret the drapery of clothing with confidence.
Pajama classes are better than books, better than tutorials and tons better than endlessly watching YouTube videos. Pajama classes are live. You can ask questions. You get answers! And feedback! Wow! It’s almost like a real live workshop, only without having to pack and unpack all your supplies.

Excellent
Andria always gives excellent classes. she is clear in her teaching and we also had fun. Many thanks. Always a pleasure to study with you again Andria

Excellent Workshop
Andria’s hands on guidance during this workshop taught me a deeper understanding of the anatomy of fabric. The approach Andria taught to develop highlights and shadows has wide application beyond clothing. I’m excited to use her layering techniques in my next piece. Andria simplified a complex process by breaking down the steps and repetition of the key points. I highly recommend this workshop and look forward to her next one.

A very pleasant afternoon, and a bunch of learning
Andrea is an exceptional teacher. She has pleasant and encouraging and showed us brand new ways to think about folds. She taught us to look at these folks in ways I would never have come up with on my own. I expected to learn a lot a lot, but never expected to have such a great outcome on my first try! I highly recommend this class for learning to look at the complex pattern of folds. I will be looking forward to any other classes. Andrea may be teaching.

Fabric Folds with Andria Burchett
This was a very positive learning experience. I really appreciated Andria taking the time at the start of the class to go over her photos of various fabrics under different situations. I found her descriptions of draping, gravity, and the effects of fabric weight and heaviness to be very beneficial in revealing the body structure beneath. With those concepts having been explained, she brought her extensive knowledge and ability as a great colored pencil teacher to this class. She allowed plenty of time for questions and also provided pleasant background banter as we colored which is not an easy thing to do. This was my first time using Padlet and in general a very positive experience. I really appreciated the worksheets, line art, and reference photo provided.

Fabric folds with Andie
Great. I learned a lot about how to do the folds with colored pencils. Andrea is an excellent instructor and very knowledgeable. I enjoyed learning her technique and seeing the folds emerge after applying the multiple layers Thank you Andie! Sherry V
