This tutorial is great except nowhere does it have which brand of pencil is used, so I found a conversion chart that I use, but it is cumbersome .

This book is amazing, and particularly useful to those who, like me, are beginning to discover the possibilities of colored pencils. My first reaction when I was in front of Paco's art for the first time was thinking “That’s impossible”. Then, when I read some reviews of people attending his workshops, I wondered it was perhaps achievable if I could take advantage of Paco’s mastery for a few hours during one of those events. With this book Paco has brought his knowledge to our bookshelves. He has concentrated years of experience into a very detailed guide that can help us advance in this technique. I am well aware that I will never reach his levels of perfection, but now I know I can learn those skills and with practice I can also complete drawings with colored pencils that seemed impossible just some time ago.The same patience and meticulousness that Paco shows in his art have been applied to the elaboration of this book. The “step by step” words in the title look like an understatement when you discover the minute and precise description of every single stage in the process of creation of each project. Nothing is taken for granted. Paco details what section you will draw first, and what section you will draw afterwords. He will indicate the style of the pencil stroke, the pressure you need to apply every time, the most convenient angle to hold the pencil, and the level of sharpness to achieve the expected result. The guide discloses every single stage in the creative process and shows the steps to make possible what seemed impossible. My expectation is becoming able to learn and incorporate all these skills and then, with time, applying them to my own projects.Thank you, Paco, for making your expertise accessible through this book.
