Highly detailed instructions for every step, including the pressure you should use, how sharp a point to use, etc
Emphasis on the why of the particular technique, rather than just the "what", which is by far the best kind of instruction. You'll find no clearer or more thorough colored pencil instruction online.
Note: Stonehenge drawing paper not included. (Order pre-cut sheets from the Extras tab above)
I am a total novice in this field and am finding the illustrations and dialogue interesting and helpful. Being able to take out small pieces on which to work is less frightening and I am beginning to feel some confidence as well as have fun. I will get the Tulips and Textures next and begin to practice, practice, practice.
I am very pleased to coloring this.
I did this as a Christmas card for a dear lady. I will definitely do it again, thanks to the great way she laid it out. I so love those that Ann pick's to teach us. Cynthia Knox is one of my favorite Colored Pencil artists, next to Ann of course.
I have just started to work on this kit and I am enjoying it. I think it will teach me a lot about coloring glass which is my main reason for purchasing it. The instructions are clear and easy to follow.
