As you create Red Fox, you’ll be having a blast and also learning the skills you need to create other types of wildlife… and your favorite pets!

Short fur and long fur aren’t created equal. Gemma shows you why and how to create both. In addition, she’ll show you why it’s crucial to draw fur in the direction it’s growing, and how to create soulful eyes and shiny noses.

HERE'S A HINT:  TOOLS

Sometimes it’s not just about the pencils. Sometimes using tools WITH your pencils is the best way to get the look you want. Find out how solvent, a knife, adhesive putty, and bristle brushes can make creating fur fun!

LIGHT OVER DARK ANYONE?

If you’ve never worked with Pastelmat (or even if you have), you’re in for a treat. Gemma will show you the remarkable things you can do including layering light colors over dark. You'll also learn the best practices for working on Pastelmat.
