Sunny Ravines with Andria Burchett
A scene you could only find in our beautiful Southwest – sand-swept ravines! Learn to draw on stone paper, how to enhance your artwork with complimentary colors, and skillfully manipulate pigment with various tools!

Buzzing Beauty with Pearl de Chalain
Wildlife, wildflowers, nature’s busy pollinating creatures – celebrate nature! It’s all about textures in this class – learn how to create vivid contrast with ease, and the best pencils for vibrant colors!

Sunbeams in the Shadows with Amy Lindenberger
This reference photo is from a historic site near our workshops! Come learn how to make colors glow with the reverse grisaille method, what is transparency/opacity, and the differences between the many brands of white pencils!

Day 1 - Sunday, April 18:

Day 2 - Monday, April 19:
- Workshop with Andria from 9:00am - 2:30pm
- Trip to nearby Snow Canyon at 3:00pm (optional, more information in the “EVENTS” section below)
Day 3 - Tuesday, April 20:
- Workshop with Amy from 9:00am - 2:30pm
- Happy Hour with Ann from 4:00pm - 5:15pm (optional, more information in the “EVENTS” section below)
- Dinner in town together at 5:30pm (un-hosted, optional, more information in the “EVENTS” section below)

- Bryce Canyon Tour

Day 5 - Thursday, April 22:
- Workshop with Pearl from 9:00am - 2:30pm
- Hosted Sayonara Pizza & Prizes Party from 4:00pm - 6:00pm (more information in the “EVENTS” section below)

TRANSPORTATION:
The closest major airport is in Las Vegas, the Harry Reid International Airport. If you fly into Las Vegas, you can drive to St. George, or take a shuttle.
- It is 112 miles to St. George from Las Vegas, approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes to drive.
- Airport shuttle from Las Vegas to St. George: starts at $30
OR, fly directly into St. George, at the St. George Regional Airport.
- It is about a 15-25 minute drive from the St. George airport to Best Western Plus Abbey Inn.
ALLERGIES:
Since there are several dining options included, please email: [email protected] if you have allergies that we need to be made aware of – we can accommodate some allergies – but if we cannot accommodate your specific allergies, a small reimbursement will be given for any meals you have to provide for yourself that are included in the workshops fee.
CANCELLATIONS:
- Cancellations made over 60 days prior – 75% refund (before February 17, 2027)
- Cancellations made less than 60 - 30 days prior – 40% refund (between February 17 – March 19, 2027)
- Cancellations made less than 30 days prior – 20% refund in the form of store credit (after after March 19, 2027)
