Melting Point Pajama Class with Paco Martin

This is my first course with color (I paint soft pastels and acrylics) and at the beginning I had problems understanding some basic concepts that I need to ask Paco later.

Paco is an amazing teacher with a genuine interest in the student's learning process. He was very kind to set some time to answer my questions after the sessions. I also liked that he gave us time to do what he just explained. Thank you Paco! ; )

I have taken other online art courses that have an additional camera (not the computer camera) that shows better the images and the work of the teacher. I would recommend this for future courses.

I am a "sorta new" learner of colored pencils and maybe I always will be but for me, taking Paco's class really pushed me forward. As stated from other reviewers, he took his time allowing his students to relax and absorb what he was teaching. I found that I became more relaxed with the process and wanted to finish the piece even after the workshop ended. I will definitely take more of his workshops in the future, if offered.

Paco Martin's workshop was one of the best workshop's I have taken, whether through Ann Kullberg's Pajama Classes or other color pencil workshops! His teaching is tremendous by his attention to detail and carefully explaining every technique and color pencil as he used them. It was so helpful of him that her did not rush through workshop, but instead he gave students time to catch up after each procedure. I am a careful and slow color pencil artist and have worked with a number of CP artists who are also excellent teachers, but too many time they rushed trying to keep within the time limits of the workshop. Paco recognized that the students need time to absorb the teaching as well as to create it on their own pieces. This class, with Paco's teaching, will take your CP art work to the next level! I highly recommend taking one of his workshops !

I learned so much from Paco’s Melting Point colored pencil class today. I especially enjoyed learning how to use an airbrush to work the background of a colored pencil project. He challenged us to work small with the sprinkles and the squares on the ice cream cone. These are all valuable tools that I will carry on in my artwork. Thank you, Paco for your time and patience.
