Mastering Colors Webinar #2 - Hands On: Putting the Tools into Practice

Mastering Colors is a Master Class specifically for colored pencil artists of every skill level. I love that Amy's focus is hands on instruction and she narrates her thinking process real time. She repeats the basic principles to reinforce understanding of the color analysis and the steps of color matching. Along the way, Amy will correct her work, showing her students that no matter how practiced a colored pencil artist may be, there will always be something to correct and how to correct it. You must take advantage of Amy's expertise and passion!

This is the second time I have taken Amy‘s class on color. I think I’ve learned even more the second time around .Amy is a great teacher, clear . This gets into the nitty-gritty of color.

Ever since I decided to learn to use colored pencils, I have struggled with color schemes. I have also been a slow learner in my technique. I will take some credit for knowing that I needed to plan the colors and follow the plan, but this video gave me a great education in training my eye and documenting the plan. When she put the plan to work as she colored the plum, I finally had a sense of order. I love the little tidbits of guidance concerning erasers and the comments about the level of pressure. To see the video lets me know that I have a great deal to learn, but it inspires me to get busy and practice, practice, practice so I can realize some of my dreams. I love it!

I feel very grateful that Amy was offering these webinars. I have read her books and learned from them too. But nothing like a class with her. She is so patient and clear with her explanations that I feel I have learnt a lot with the 2 sessions I have taken. I am looking forward to the other 2. I think that learning from her is a must if you want to upgrade your skills. Thanks Amy.
