Experiment with Colored Pencils on FIVE Unique Surfaces!

Have you ever wondered about the versatility of colored pencils? This five-part series will provide you with an in-depth exploration and insight into various surfaces that can be used with colored pencils. It's a fantastic chance to delve into your creativity and perhaps discover your favorite drawing technique. You will have the opportunity to experiment with diverse surfaces and a range of techniques under the patient and comprehensive guidance of your instructor, Oksana. Plus, you'll be encouraged to share your artwork and receive constructive feedback

Whether you're just starting out or an experienced artist, there's a wealth of knowledge to gain and practice that will ignite your imagination!

You'll Learn:

• How to apply different colored pencil techniques on various surfaces
• Techniques for pencil strokes and pressure tailored to each surface
• Creating captivating backgrounds using a mix of mediums

What you need to know:

• Immediately after registering, you'll receive an email with a link to download the "How to Prepare" PDF of instructions to prepare you for class. SAVE this PDF.
  
• On the day of the workshop, just before class begins, click on the link to enter the classroom.
• As Oksana demos in class, you'll follow along with the drawing.
• During the live workshop, feel free to ask Oksana questions.
• A video recording of each session will be posted on Padlet within a few days after EACH class.

Requirements:

• Laptop, PC, Mac, tablet or iPad with speakers
• Printer (for printing line drawings and reference photos)
• Supplies (list also emailed after registration)

Pajama classes are better than books, better than tutorials and tons better than endlessly watching YouTube videos. Pajama Classes are live. You can ask questions. You get answers! And feedback! Wow! It’s almost like a real live workshop, only without having to pack and unpack all your supplies.

About Oksana: Originally from Russia, Oksana Burr is an award winning artist specializing in colored pencils, custom commissions and teaching locally. She's a member of CPSA, UKCPS, and other local art organizations. She loves to share her passion for art with others. Oksana is extreemly friendly and dedicated to ensuring that every participant feels confident in their drawing skills while, most importantly, having fun. As English is her second language, her accent adds an interesting twist to the experience.
