Such a treat you're in store for! In this two-day Pajama Class, learn how to capture four distinct shiny surfaces!

You'll draw a metallic silver teapot, a copper teapot with metallic gold handle, and a glazed ceramic teapot. Follow along with Scott as he shows you how light and reflections can be used to create a realistic representation of each of these surfaces.

Pajama classes are better than books, better than tutorials and tons better than endlessly watching YouTube videos. Pajama classes are live. You can ask questions. You get answers! And feedback! Wow! It’s almost like a real live workshop, only without having to pack and unpack all your supplies.

About Scott Krohn: One of our most beloved teachers, Scott’s been teaching high school art forever and he’s passionate about teaching with clarity, calm and patience. Terrific Teapots!

This was a very enjoyable class. We worked at a pace that allowed us to complete the entire drawing. Scott did a good job of managing the time overall, although we did have to hurry to get to the table top at the end. Running short on time at the end happens in most classes, but this is an observation, not a complaint. Time allocation is always affected by the students, whether they have questions, comments, etc. The subject matter was challenging, multiple reflective surfaces, and Scott did a nice job of demonstrating techniques for achieving lovely final results. He provided meaningful feed back at the end of each day. I look forward to taking classes with Scott in the future. Thank you, Scott!

Colored pencil techniques

I have used colored pencils for many years but l learned more this past weekend, than I ever have !! Scott is an excellent coach and I’m looking forward to the dahlia class!!!
