In today’s internet soaked world, artwork is very accessible. But seeing a piece here and a piece there is not the same as embracing and immersing in an artist’s body of work.

There is a reason retrospectives exist. And when it occurred to us that there were no retrospectives of colored pencil artists, we knew we had to make it happen. It is another marvelous milestone in the path of the once lowly colored pencil and Julie Podstolski's work is a worthy place to begin this new series.
