I loved Jan's class!! She is a wonderful teacher and I learned new techniques that I'll use in future colored pencil classes. This is the first class I've taken from Jan. I look forward to taking more of Jan's classes. Thank you for a great class!!

I signed up specifically because the instructor was Jan Fagan. Through our CPSA chapters, we have benefited from not only Jan's pencil talents, but her complete generosity with her technical skills, especially during the pandemic. Knowing Jan's art, I wanted to experience this complete tutorial. I was not disappointed! The session was warm, welcoming, and productive. Jan is supportive and patient with those new to pencil, and yet has many insights for the more advanced. A perfect balance. Many thanks. AJ

I have taken colored pencil classes for many years and for me, this class ranks on the top. Jan is a wonderful teacher of colored pencil with her step-by-step teaching method and her patient demeanor answering questions as they arise in the class. I learned much and hope I have the opportunity to take several classes with Jan. She is the best colored pencil teacher I have had in my 20 years of classes!

This was my first online art class and I was hesitant about its effectiveness. I should never have worried - - Jan made it feel like an in personal experience and I am so amazed about my project which I am happily showing off. For a couple of hours I forgot about everything going on in the world - - thanks Jan!

This was a good experience, although l wasn't sure how it would progress in a virtual class. I never did figure out how many were connected or how to ask questions, but, again, this was my first ever zoom class. I've had some personal group classes with an excellent teacher whom l think included some ideas that are helpful to beginners. It helps me if there is a brief introduction showing what the steps will be, with a sample coloring of what that step will be, as used in your project kits. The other recommendation is to state more clearly what color we are using. This was the most asked question, so I'm not the only one missing this. I love my tulip and get lots of compliments. My friend, a total newbie, found the class overwhelming for a true beginner. She felt that an overview of the steps we would be taking, with visuals, would have helped. She also had a hard time knowing what colors were being used. She felt pretty overwhelmed. I'm already enrolled for a future 2 day class, so you can see that I'm a satisfied customer!
