Very good tutorial

I have only recently started working with colored pencils, so I was hesitant to undertake this project. I was pleased with the instruction and pictures. I was also pleased with my result. I changed up a couple of the elements but essentially did as instructed.

Surpisingly Fun!

It's just a bunch of rocks, right? Oh no, so much more is found as your go layer by layer , page by page, rock by rock. Author, Scott Krohn does a great job in bringing out the beauty of these rocks while capturing realistic beauty and giving the effect of the water. A really worthwhile tutorial that allows the artist to add their own flair to the project.

Really detailed instruction. Easy to follow.

Scott has a way of taking a detailed subject and breaking it down to bite size pieces. I took my time and followed exactly what he said and I was very impressed with the finished product. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to draw these stunning rocks.
