About Carmen Barros:
Carmen Barros enjoys painting still life compositions. Glass objects are her favorite subjects to portray. Carmen likes working with colored pencil because the medium allows her to capture the beauty of everyday objects in intricate and realistic detail.

What's a Jelly Bean Class?

Small, sweet and hard to stop at just one, Jelly Bean classes are our newest way to help you and your colored pencil life bloom. Each short, focused class is a mere 60 to 90 minutes, but you'll learn lessons you can use for a lifetime. Small projects or single topics that deserve a bit of delving into, Jelly Beans will enhance your skill set and knowledge base in a fun, quick fashion, all from the comfort of your own home. Scheduled on both weekdays and weekends, we hope to accommodate every schedule.

What you need to know:

You'll receive an email with a link to download a PDF with Zoom instructions, as well as a link to the classroom.
On the day of the workshop, just before class begins, click on the link to enter the classroom.
During the live workshop, feel free to ask questions.

Was able to draw glass at the end of the class. Class could have been a little longer I thought.

The instructor was great Downside I would like to have an 8 hour class to finish.

Fantastic class

Carmen is an excellent teacher! She is organized and presents the content clearly. Her guidance and the demonstration were easy to follow. She answered questions along the way which was very helpful. I learned techniques for working on a complex subject, sharpening straight edges, and blending pigment on a sanded surface.
