Jesse Lane:
Jesse captures private moments in beautiful realism. He's honored to have won CPSA's top award for colored pencil, the CIPPY. Jesse's pieces have appeared in numerous national publications. He loves teaching his special techniques online and in person.

Scott Krohn:
Scott is an artist and teacher living in Minnesota. He has taught high school art for over 30 years and adult workshops around the country and online for 6 years. He is a signature member of CPSA and has won numerous awards both nationally and internationally.

Thank you for the opportunity...

Thank you for the opportunity to listen to the incredible artists that I have so long admired, and some of whom I have taken classes with. The "Series of Treasures" with Carmen, Gretchen, Jesse, and Scott just finished and was wonderful. It reinforced some of the procedures I use, offered insight into different techniques and when and how to use them, and was inspirational as it brought to life the approaches, strategies, and personalities of people whose work I admire. It also personalized the work of each colored pencil artist. The passion, interests, and artistic philosophy of each artist were tangible. THANK YOU again for providing this kind of message.

A Treasure Trove!

What a great idea! The artwork was beautiful. Hearing the thoughts and comments of Carmen, Gretchen, Jesse and Scott was like sitting at a round table discussion with them. Lots of tips on a variety of techniques and surfaces, as well as a good, healthy dose of inspiration. The only thing that could have been better would have been to have attended it live.I do so hope more are in the works. As Ann said in closing, more artist chats like this would be great.

Incredible how and why stories from color pencil masters—highly recommend!

I so enjoyed the Series of Treasures, (CP Treasures, Vol. 10) artists featured with Ann today--Carmen Barros, Jesse Lane, Gretchen Parker, and Scott Krohn. It was a fantastic opportunity to hear the hows and the whys each amazing artist considered when creating their masterpieces and how they create in general. The hour just flew by and I have a page full of notes and highlights! Thank you Ann for putting this opportunity together, and thank you four artists for sharing!
