About Amy Lindenberger

Amy Lindenberger is the author of several colored pencil instruction books, including CP Surfaces: Black Paper and CP Surfaces: Colored Paper. She has taught colored pencil widely for decades, in the Midwest and on Ann Kullberg sponsored Colored Pencil Workshop Cruises. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Akron (OH) with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drawing.

"This was my first colored pencil class. I found it exciting and challenging to learn to draw a child’s face with flower ornaments. Amy does a great job explaining and demonstrating and is very responsive to student questions."
–Mary E.

"Amy is such a great teacher, and this method of rendering skin tones over the felt gray Canson Mi-Tientes base is magical! Just last night I was drooling over Hans Holbein portraits and those luscious skin tones that felt personally so out of reach. This class helped me to think with how they can be achieved with colored pencil."
