Seasoned instructor and master of cats both wild and domestic, Gemma is also the author of the top-selling book, CP Cats. You'll definitely enjoy Gemma's warm, witty teaching style and you'll come away with a complete arsenal of fabulous techniques for drawing cat whiskers, long and short hair and stunning, soulful eyes.

Gemma uses Prismacolor pencils on Pastelmat for this workshop.

Gemma has been creating animal art in colored pencil for more than 20 years. She loves to compete in obedience trials with her dogs and she also loves to travel. During her travels, she has taken thousands of photos of animals and wildlife, which she uses to create her animal/wildlife artwork.

Come to class in your pajamas!

While you are comfortable at home, Gemma will guide you through creating this beautiful cat and give you the skills you need to feel confident creating your own animal portraits. You'll get Gemma's personal guidance as you interact with her in real time, ask questions, and get her feedback.

What you need to know:

• You'll receive an email with a link to download a PDF of the workshop project reference photo and line drawing after you register, as well as a link to the classroom.
• On the day of the workshop, just before 8 am Pacific time, click on the link to enter the classroom
• As Gemma demos in class, you'll follow along with the drawing.
• During the live workshop, feel free to ask Gemma questions.
• 4-5 days after the workshop concludes, you'll receive a link to a video recording of the entire workshop.

• Printer (for printing line drawing onto drawing paper)
