Great picture, not enough instructions

I would have given this kit four stars if the paper had been included. I understand that the paper was larger than normal but getting the kit and having to wait to find and order the correct color and type of paper was a bit frustrating. I would have given the kit five stars if the instructions were a bit more detailed. Example was the headdress. I would have liked clearer instructions as to the progression of the slate blue and then the peach colors in the darker area. For me it was unclear in the directions and the examples. I’m a detail person and that’s why I’m learning how to do colored pencil art.

Chief Raven Hair

Hello, I bought this tutorial to learn the portrait. For that, super! For the rest, I allowed myself some research to incorporate details. I think to make a background. I am very happy with the explanations and I was able to get the translation into the cloud very easily. I recommend this tutorial

Chief Raven

My first attempt at taking on a color pencil kit. I normally use graphite pencils, I really enjoyed it and hope you like it.

Highly recommend!

Ah-maz-ing!!!! So glad I jumped in and tried this project...enjoyed watching it come to life! Love Mark’s kits! I did make a mistake, got lines mixed up, but now I barely can tell. My family encouraged me to continue instead of starting over, so happy I did!
