A complete guide to using colored pencils n claybord

Great instructions and hints in this book. Loved the projects as well.

Could have been summed up in a paragraph

I didn’t bother. The whole process could have been explained in a paragraph - I think the title - a Complete Guide to using colored pencils on Claybord is misleading. The materials say it’s a 90+ page document so you assume that it is comprehensive. But it is mostly process photos for one follow-along project.

CP Surfaces: Black Surfaces

I loved this book. Amy gives very detailed instructions and if you follow them, you will have a great painting. I also bought her Claybord book and look forward to those demos as well.

Not worth calling a book

I have bought the CP surface bundle, which includes this book. I was very unhappy that this book is rather an in-depth tutorial. One whole project is just not enough and the project is not my style. So I don’t even like the one in-depth project in the book. Basically I think this is one of the negatives when buying bundles.
