Lovely book that has many inspirational ideas in it
I think it’s interesting, but the type font is hard to read. The letters are “skinny” and not a real black. My eyes get tired after a page or two (and there’s nothing wrong with my eyes!) I think it’s amazing to see the results of those artists who haven’t been doing colored pencil too long — I feel inferior!
As a fairly new coloured pencil artist I always enjoy these books. The artwork is amazingly good and so inspiring plus I love reading about the individual artist contributors.
I teach adult colored pencil classes. I love being able to bring in a book of colored pencil art for "show and tell", to show my students just how much colored pencil art is out there, by artists of various ages and backgrounds, who utilize different styles. And most of all, to show WHAT IS POSSIBLE with colored pencils! This book showcases the full spectrum of colored pencil, and I use it, along with Ann's other books, to inspire my students. Thanks again!
Each work of art seemed to leap off the page with its own unique expression of talent, creativity and emotion!
