The item itself was fine, but my issue with the book (and all your projects) is that it specifies Prismacolor pencils. The quality of these pencils has deteriorated to the point that some art outlets will no longer carry them. I’ve also found that the best pencils for drafting film (in this order) are Faber-Castell Polychromos, Caran d’Ache Pablos, and Derwent Coloursoft. They go down smoothly and blend very well.
The whole idea is very intriguing. I’m a little disappointed in the instructions. Since this has to be followed carefully on the first couple of tries, you’d like the instructions to match the coinciding illustrations. They don’t quite. It keeps making me think I missed a step. Still having fun with it though.
I thought I was actually recieving a piece of drafting film in the mail to try. Also my lesson was not available when I would try to open it and I kept getting messages that I did not have any downloads left. I was extremely dissatisfied and disappointed. I’m glad it was not expensive!
As a newbie to this substrate I am really enjoying this drafting film. Thank you for being able to order this drafting film on your web sight in a small packet to try out.
