Reference Photo & Line Drawing to transfer
Highly detailed instructions for every step, including the pressure you should use, how sharp a point to use, etc
Emphasis on the why of the particular technique, rather than just the "what", which is by far the best kind of instruction. You'll find no clearer or more thorough colored pencil instruction online.
Note: Colourfix Suede Pastel (white) drawing paper not included. (Order pre-cut sheets from the Extras tab above)
I do step by steps often and this one was purchase to do metal. I truly could not get past step 3 and the other steps were generalized. The thumbnail reference photos are so bad. If I enlarge them in any way, they become so distorted. I see can't any of the marks from the drawing at all. I'm hoping to figure a way to render them at a higher dpi, otherwise, it's just not going to be with the effort. I must add that is the main complaint along with the pencil list. The pencil list is common place but yucky, I agree and the materials are shown in the preview. With that said, this tutorial has received 5 stars mostly from individuals who haven't even began. If the thumbnail references get fixed, this will be a dream.

Lots of great info, great to have a reference copy of the silver pitcher. Didn't have to draw it first, just traced and copied it to my paper. Thanks
This was my first time trying a written tutorial. It took me longer than any medium I have ever done. I usually paint in oils and was looking for something more portable. I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed this experience. The final results is absolutely beautiful. I also loved that paper. Thank you!
I feel that this kit should be noted as recommending about $60 in pencils besides the normal prismacolor. As the artist states the prisms have so much wax they slide around on the drafting film. Most folks will not have pablos ect. The pictures are small to see the detail of the different layers she has you using.I also in general feel that it is hard for those of us that don't have expensive printers to get a good picture to work from on any of these kits downloaded. I do however enjoy them and learn a great deal each time I do one. I think the instruction in several of the other artist kits is far superior to this one on silver reflections. I am happy with how it is turning out so would recommend for someone wanting to learn about silver reflections was long as they have or are willing to get the other recommended pencils.
Easy to understand. I thank you for putting it out.
