Reference Photo & Line Drawing to transfer
Highly detailed instructions for every step, including the pressure you should use, how sharp a point to use, etc
Emphasis on the why of the particular technique, rather than just the "what", which is by far the best kind of instruction. You'll find no clearer or more thorough colored pencil instruction online.
Note: Canson Mi-Tientes drawing paper in sky blue not included. (Order gray transfer sheets here.)

This is a very well done tutorial. I have never done one before, so it would be very easy to trip me up. I am still working on it, but I know it will be a succesful finish, as I love it already. I have learned much, and feel this will jump start my skills in ways I did not imagine. Very happy. Thank you!
I haven't started it yet as I had to order the blue paper but I am very excited about it. The instructions look easy to follow.
Excellent as always.
Still working on it but loving it. Great instructions and clear diagrams
If you want to try to draw your first dog portrait...I highly recommend you this tutorial! This is my very first pet portrait and I have created this Siberian Husky following the step-by-step tutorial "In-Depth" . I think this kit is very good to start with pet portraits because there aren't many colours in this dog... just shades of greys, white, some pinks and light blues... The instructions are well written and well explained so if you pay enough attention you can reach this result <3 Colored pencils used: Prismacolor Permier. Paper: Canson Mi-Teintes.
