Shiny Marbles Pajama Class

New Dates to be Announced!

You'll learn from a master of drafting film in this class!

Gretchen Parker literally wrote the book (CP Surfaces: Drafting Film) about using colored pencils on drafting film, and in this fun and relaxed class she's going to teach you a variety of skills that will have you well on your way to mastering this versatile surface, too.

Great class for EVERYONE - Beginners and Advanced

Most artists will tell you: Making objects appear closer or farther away from the viewer is a key to  realism. In this workshop, Gretchen will show you how to create perspective to make those marbles look real.

Did you know drafting film is erasable? And you can also move color around, using paper stumps or tortillons for blending, softening, or blurring. That makes creating smooth washes a lot easier. Success is yours!

Looking for intense color? You'll find out how and when to add color to the back side of the film for vibrant color. Shiny objects are easier to create on film than on paper, and this project is perfect for learning how.
