Burnishing, but not in the traditional sense! It's a whole new word when Linda uses it... Linda will teach you burnishing done with a "dry" brush. Using a paint brush not only blends the pigment but also intensifies the color, producing a rich, luminous work of art which will make the viewer wonder if it really is pencil or if it's paint!

Linda Lucas Hardy has had a lifetime of experience in art. In 2005 she was the recipient of the International Artist's Magazines Grand Prize Award making her piece "The Magnificent Seven" the only colored pencil piece to win the award.

In 2007 Linda won the CIPPY and EXXPY awards, the two highest awards given by the Colored Pencil Society of America. No other artist has received both awards. In January Southwest Art Magazine named her as one of the 10 artists to watch for 2008. We are just LUCKY to have her on board!!

Pat Averill

Glorious light and soft, romantic landscapes are Pat Averill's claim to fame.  In Pat's workshop, you'll learn how to create a simple, but stunning, landscape with Pat's own "simple start" method of  using just a few lines to start. Pat has a quick, care-free , non-intimidating technique for creating her landscape beauties, and you'll be amazed at what you'll be able to create with her style!
