COLORED PENCIL PORTRAIT WORKSHOP
Provo, Utah - June 18-20, 2009 Portraits in Colored Pencil I: Generally this workshop is offered only to those whove previously taken a portrait workshop from me, so we can go beyond the basics. Take this opportunity to work on your own piece with hands-on, step-by-step guidance on your own colored pencil portrait. But I make exceptions in Provo, so if you have NOT taken a previous workshop from me, but would like to attend, please email me. ann@annkullberg.com
Supply List Sharpened set of Prismacolor pencils - bring as many as you have! Make sure you have at least the following pencils: one each Prismacolor of the following: Mineral Orange, Deco Pink (or Derwent Rose-Pink), Pumpkin Orange, Henna, Pink Rose, Rosy Beige, Clay Rose, Jasmine, 30% French Grey Drafting brush (desk brush or large paint brush) One portrait photo reference, enlarged to 8 x 10 or 11 x 14 ( If possible, please email me an image of the reference photo(s) you plan to use in class at least 2 weeks before class) A line drawing (in graphite) of the photo reference on Stonehenge paper. Should be no smaller than 10 x 12 and no larger than 16 x 20 Pencil sharpener - electric recommended (bring an extension cord if you have one handy)
